A MESSAGE FROM DR. BROWN

     Welcome to Morrilton High School! We are so very privileged to be able to offer our students such a wide arrangement of opportunities that all lend themselves to student achievement—the highest priority at Morrilton High School. We continue to offer our students the kind of rigor that would allow them to compete with students all over Arkansas and nation wide. Our students have the option of taking any of seven AP courses and we are proud to attain some very competitive AP and ACT scores.

     We are very fortunate to have a dynamic faculty and staff that work together toward the same purpose of ensuring that Morrilton High School is not just a safe and nurturing environment, but a place where all students have an opportunity to build a foundation of knowledge that will begin their quest for life long learning.

     Our philosophy parallels that of Rousseau which states that each child comes into this world as a blank slate and is shaped by his or her experiences and surroundings.  We believe that home-school relations is a very powerful tool in making sure the Morrilton High School experience that students have is a positive one. We invite parents and community into our school—our mission will cease to progress without a successful partnership between Morrilton High School and parents.

      There are great things to come at Morrilton High School and we are truly excited about the opportunity to serve our students, parents, and community. Our students continue to be our most prized asset and we look forward to working together with all involved stakeholders to fulfill our mission.
