The Thea Foundation for the Arts Scholarship Awards have been announced! These students not only will receive money, but several Arkansas colleges have matching partnerships with Thea Foundation. All the 6 pieces entered were awesome.  From all the entries across the state only 25 were picked and our students are in the top 10!

 

First Place: Tulsi Patel $4000

 

Fifth Place: Austin Benson $2000

 

Seventh Place: Cole Harken $2000

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These are a couple of pumpkins the Art Club created based on order. Every year around Halloween the Art Club takes special orders to create pumpkins. You can get any kind you would like.  

 

 

                                  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here, an MHS art student works on the Devil Dog at the School Board Building.

 

 

 

 

This is The Door the Morrilton High School Art Department painted for the community project in conjunction with the Rialto Arts Committee and the Parks and Recreation Department.  This door will become part of a larger wall for the new city park being constructed on Broadway Street. All Morrilton schools have participated in this Fine Arts grant and this is our contribution.
