Our school picture day is October 15th! If you are unable to attend that day, make sure you're available for our picture day make-ups and retakes on December 10th. Please note that students who fail to appear for either of these picture days may not have their school photo in the yearbook.

The last call for senior portraits is October 30th. Seniors, if you haven't had your official portrait done, please be in attendance that day. That will be the final opportunity to appear for senior portraits.

Seniors, you can now go on Jostens.com to order your cap and gown for graduation.

Seniors that would like to submit a senior photo are welcome to do so! You may send those photos to Mr. Denning (in Room 111). Students should try to have those photos submitted by November the 26th.

MHS FBLA students are requesting your help in donating non-perishable food items to the Arkansas Food Bank.  Donations are being accepted through October 29th. Please take your items to Mrs. Halbrook in room 131. If you bring your non-perishable food items to the library, we will waive up to $1.00 of your overdue fines per item. We will deliver your food donations to Mrs. Halbrook.

People wear pink in October to support and raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a global initiative that began in 1985 to encourage early detection, promote education, and fund research for the disease. Wearing pink is a symbol of support for those affected by breast cancer and serves as a reminder for people to prioritize their health and schedule routine screenings. Since we won't be in school this Friday, wear your Pink on Wednesday to show your support for this cause and for our Devil Dog football team as they play at Harrison.

If you need to check out a calculator from the library for the ACT on Saturday, you must have a signed permission form on file in the library. You can get the form in the library.

Please release 9th grade volleyball players after 7th period.

We will be having campus wide testing on Tuesday morning.  You will receive information about where you are to report through RTI Scheduler.  These exams are important; the results could be a step toward receiving diplomas of Merit or Distinction.  For Sophomores, this is the first step toward earning National Merit status.

Fall Break starts on Wednesday at 3:25 pm.  We will have no school on Thursday, Friday and next Monday.
