Congratulations Devil Dog soccer for winning the Southerner Invitational in Batesville. They defeated Beebe 7-2 in the finals. Jafet Santos was named the tournament MVP.

MHS Speech and Debate visited Ms. Hunter’s class at MES to perform their storytelling pieces in preparation for the State Tournament! Thank you to Ms. Tilley for organizing our visit, Ms. Hunter’s class for being excellent listeners, and to Danajah (12) and Addison (11) for performing. Good luck at the tournament in May!




Important information from the Arkansas Activities Association concerning the new student transfer law and how it affects student eligibility.


Students at MHS participated in an English IXL March Madness. The sophomore class won by completing 11,213 correct questions over 10 days! Their reward was to spend a DDD period eating candy, playing games, and enjoying music. Thank you to the English department for enriching our scholars!





MHS is dedicated to conducting various emergency drills throughout the academic year in the interest of enhancing safety and preparedness on our campus. We are currently conducting one of these Emergency Preparedness Drills. No need for alarm, THIS IS ONLY A DRILL.
