Molly Fletcher shared this on her X feed:
"What Geno Auriemma, Head Coach of the University of Connecticut Womenโs Basketball Team, told his team before the Final Fourโฆ might be the best mindset advice youโll hear all year. Geno has 12 national titlesโฆ and until Sunday, had a losing record in the Final Four. Before the game, he told his team:
โNobody introduces me as the guy who lost 12 Final Fours.โ
The message? People donโt define you by failure. They remember how you showed up.
So stop obsessing over the outcome.
Do the work. And give it everything youโve got.
If itโs good enough, youโll get the win.
If itโs not? Hold your head high and keep moving forward.
Just donโt let fear be the thing that holds you back."
