The South Conway County School District (SCCSD) is one (1) of sixteen (16) school districts in the state of Arkansas to be recognized with the Arkansas Purple Star School District Award. The SCCSD is honored that all five (5) schools in the district have been named as Arkansas Purple Star Schools also!

The Purple Star School/District Award recognizes schools and school districts that show a major commitment to serving students and families connected to our nation’s armed forces. The Arkansas Purple Star School program is operated by the Arkansas Council for Military Children in cooperation with the Arkansas Department of Education.

Ms. Aida Kuettle was honored tonight at the SCCSD Board of Education meeting. She was honored for receiving the 2023 ARLTESOL Coordinator of the Year and the 2023 Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year.
